Back in the early days of SaaS and procurement software, Ken Murai helped lead the efforts to create OpsTechnology, the leading procurement marketplace for multifamily, acquired by RealPage in 2008. Back then, they had to create a market for their product, as well as familiarize customers with enterprise SaaS applications, which at the time were new concepts for multifamily real estate. Moreover, they were trying to grow the business right after the Internet bubble had burst, so they learned to be nimble and operate efficiently.
Several years later, Ken and another partner started a single family home portfolio. It was a small portfolio of 50 homes, and over time they experienced first hand the challenges of rehabbing and operating properties. They found that getting work done on the houses was inefficient and extremely frustrating due to the lack of good technology solutions on the market. Suppliers were also frustrated by how difficult it was to grow their businesses and operate efficiently. They realized that they could build an innovative, new solution, that would provide a streamlined platform, be built to work seamlessly with mobile technology and social networking, help buyers save money and help suppliers grow. Thus, FacilGo® was born.
Chief Executive Officer
Ken was the Vice President of Product Development and Client Management at OpsTechnology, where he was responsible for designing and developing the OpsTechnology product and oversaw its client management team from initial deployment to acquisition by RealPage and beyond. Ken has experience creating procurement organizations and managing strategic technology initiatives for executive teams in the multifamily industry. Ken graduated from the University of California, Davis with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. He has been working in the technology industry for 25 years, in areas including product development, sales, marketing and management.
Ken has many interests in which he has devoted much of his time including playing violin, creating pottery, and playing and coaching soccer. He is fascinated with the art and culture of Indonesia, and spent a year learning the language so that he could speak with one particular master craftsmen.
VP Sales and Customer Success
Brad was the VP of Product Management at SiteStuff before Yardi acquired them in 2007. He became the P2P Industry Principal responsible for driving sales and development of Yardi’s Procure to Pay solution. Brad brings over 25 years of seasoned leadership, product delivery, sales and marketing, and client management experience across multiple companies varying in size and technology base.
Brad graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute, a Masters in Engineering Management from St. Martins’ College, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He also served as an officer in the United States Air Force.
Brad is an avid runner, swimmer and biker who enjoys taking advantage of the great year round weather in Texas.
